LAGO, by award-wining Chef Julian Serrano, opened on February 1st 2018, serving authentic Italian small plates and sharing platters on an expansive outdoor terrace, with the restaurant's atmosphere enhanced by a welcoming contemporary design.

LAGO presents playful dining with smaller portion sizes and attracts guests who wish to dine in a vibrant and elegant setting without feeling stuffy or overly formal.
Located on the sixth floor of the iconic Bellagio Shanghai, LAGO by Julian Serrano is a progressive dining experience featuring modern interior design, innovative Italian cuisine and the most spectacular views of Shanghai's Suzhou Creek and Pudong skyline. Conceived by internationally acclaimed design firm Studio Munge, LAGO's avant-garde interiors showcase Shanghai's historic Puxi district paired with modern architecture.
Award-winning chef Julian Serrano is widely regarded as one of the finest culinary talents out of Europe. Julian Serrano opened this new concept restaurant at Bellagio Las Vegas in 2015, which quickly became successful. LAGO by Julian Serrano is the chef's first Italian restaurant and explores a new take on social dining, celebrating Chef Serrano's creativity and signature flavors.
At the helm of the kitchen in Shanghai is Jair Gudino Chavez, a Mexican-born chef with over 10 years' experience in top kitchens around the world. Jair has been working in 5 star hotels in Shanghai for the past 6 years, while most recently being featured in the Michelin Guide Shanghai. Jair's personal style is a love of making colorful and textured dishes, taking each component of the dish from a different part of the world where he has travelled, and giving it a visually vibrant appeal with stunning taste.
Menu highlights in LAGO will be authentic Italian small plates and side dishes with a clever twist. Experience a classic vitello tonnato done in Piedmontese style, house made pastas cooking to perfection, and top grade steaks and seafood. Bring your friends to enjoy dishes such as the 1kg Tomahawk of aged beef. For dessert lovers, you won't be able to resist the stunning Affogato that finished with a modern twist.
